A typical stop over in the bay of Lorient. The Port of Locmiquélic presents 720 berths in two marinas, Ste Catherine and Pen Mane. Located close to the Port-Louis citadel, the Locmiquélic harbour offers a peaceful place for the visitors of the bay of Lorient. Cruisers also appreciate the restaurants close to the sea and their local food. Not to miss: The National Marine Museum. Situated in the fort of Port Louis, the museum is separated into two themes : sea rescue and ocean treasures. The Indian Companies museum : Unique in France, this museum opens its doors to the extraordinary history of the big trades that have occurred in the past centuries.
